The Perth City Link is one of Western Australia’s most important public infrastructure projects. Changing the face of Perth's CBD the project includes the sinking of the Wellington Street bus station and the Fremantle railway line from the Horseshoe Bridge as far as King & Lake Streets. This allows for uninterrupted access between the Perth CBD and Northbridge.
This project will reconnect the city centre with Northbridge for the first time in more than 100 years by sinking the rail and bus station and delivering a vibrant mixed use precinct. Perth City Link has an important role in the overall revitalisation of our city and will deliver improved connectivity and access, new residential, retail and commercial opportunities and high quality public open space.
Approximately 13.5 hectares of land will be developed. Of these 13.5 hectares approximately a third (4.4 hectares) will be allocated as public space whilst 244,000m2 (0.25 hectares) is reserved to commercial and retail space. The project will also create a significant number of new employment opportunities, with up to 13,500 new jobs becoming available in the project area once it is completed. The provision of new housing will also allow people to live nearby to their employment, whilst integrated social and leisure facilities along with the other conveniences of city living will make the precinct a desirable new heart of the city.LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE - SUBMIT YOUR BOOKING BY 4PM SATURDAY THE 1ST OF NOVEMBER
