CASA31 is result of five years of renovation combining an historic 1930s home with a modern extension. The architects have cleverly retained the traditional street facing façade, and introduced a faceted rear extension based on the sloping surfaces of the original roof. The design preserves and reinterprets the original house including a sloping floor (former roof), and reuse of former building elements as decks, gates and furniture. Designed by one of WA’s most innovative architects CASA 31 is a must see for those interested in renovating or building a new home.
